I think it is only fair to let you know where I came from before we get started with all we will accomplish here. Here goes...
I am a child of divorce myself so I know what our little ones are going through on a personal level. I have been married 3 times. Marriage numero uno ended in divorce after the birth of my first daughter due to domestic violence. Marriage number two ended due to my husband having a massive heart attack in our home when my first daughter was only six years old. My final divorce ended after the love of my life and father of my last two children had a stroke. Unfortunately, his family drama and the loss of his filter hindered any hope of our relationship surviving the storm. (Boy! You really don't know how much control a mother-in-law has until something happens to your spouse.)
I am now a single mother, working a full-time job, and raising three magnificent daughters (16yo, 7yo, & 5yo) who will hopefully break this cycle for our family.

Now, I must let you know in advance...my last ex-husband still lives in our home after he saw his family's true colors. As bad as he or I might want what we had...it never will be again. He has lost too much of himself and I have adapted to being independent.
I get up five days a week and run two home health care agency's, participate with my girls in a non-profit every Tuesday night, and try my best to always make time for the Lord. It all sounds good doesn't it? Well...I am running on fumes and sometimes I fail miserably. Those failures are what make me. I could use all this and my failures to make me bitter and hateful but, I chose to learn from those instances to improve myself instead.
